The Must Have Gears For Airsoft Beginners

what's up guys drew peacock here today

I'm going to give you a brief overview

of some of the things you need to start

off in airsoft now not all this stuff is

mandatory I'll go over that in a little

but you know let's start off with just

obviously what you need you need some

form of airsoft gun whether it be an aeg

or a gas blowback or a spring you're

gonna need an airsoft gun and you can

start with a very basic type of gun like

some sort of m4 platform or you can go

into more complex and again I'll go over

that in a minute I'm gonna give you

pretty much just an overview of some

stuff you need to start off with and

then some different options yes

so you're going to need some sort of

airsoft primary weapon now whether it be

a pistol or a rifle that's up to you you

do not need a secondary ok that's one

thing I do that I don't used to is I

don't run with a secondary anymore

unless you're like some huge match you

don't really need a secondary I always

just finally be more weight more of a

hassle you never really whip it out and

actually you know never really comes in

handy just long story short more or less

just more weight and with me I like to

be as lightweight as possible that's one

thing that I'm a bunch of people don't

mention but you know right off the bat

you do need some sort of primary weapon

and that is backwards there we go

some sort of primary weapon m4 is our

great starter platforms g36 is you know

they're very very user friendly just a

nice decent airsoft and okay you could

go with the Lancer tactical that

textured with I had a Lancer tactical I

never actually went to a field with it

but that is what I started with and then

I am i picked up my AAG and that's when

I got into airsoft but you know quickly

some sort of primary secondly I need is

some sort of face protection now here we

have a mesh mask goggles and a helmet

you don't need this this is a little bit

more of a you know I guess your own

preference that's what I use this isn't

my stuff but this is what I use I use a

mesh mask goggles in a helmet and I used

to helmet so I can mount my camera on it

that's the only reason why you could use

like a dime ask you could use like those

paintball masks you can use those cheapy

mask so you

at Walmart like 15 bucks it's all your

own preference this is what I use

because I find but you can like you know

make it fit your face a lot better I've

never used a dime mask I'm assuming

since a lot of people do use them that

you could aim very well with them and

stuff like that but again all preference

but you do need some sort of facial

protection um another quick thing

obvious you need bb's you need to find

out what weight you like come on focus

there we go these are point twos I would

recommend nothing less than point twos I

think I actually have two point two

fives in here and not sure but yeah I

use point two fives at least just you

know again you'll figure all that out as

you go pretty much the heavier weight

the B be the more accurate you'll get a

wind won't disrupt it as much it'll have

a harder hit but it'll also decrease

your FPS a little it's a little weird

little like science physics thing but so

we went over gun bb's masks here's some

of more of the optional things a vest

not everyone uses a vest I recommend a

vest oh we can carry extra mags I have

this one set up for what is this speed

loader yeah I have this set up for my

pistol rig I'll have my two high caps

and then uh you know my either a speed

loader or my my low cap pistol mag this

is set up for them it's tax City but a

vest carry ammo I wouldn't go overboard

with shit all over it I remember when I

was first starting I wanted to put as

much stuff on the real estate as

possible so I'd you know I'd go and get

fucking tools and put them in here I'd

get markers I'd get all the pouches I

can find I already have a billion mag

pouches on it you know you just realized

down the line that more weight slows you

down so I just keep it nice and simple

I'll have a couple little patches here

and then you know just my mag pouches I

again like I remember with my UMP which

again I'll get to in a minute when I

described more about dent or when I talk

more about gums guns fuck me god damn it

I had two of these and I fucking had six

mags I didn't need six max for UMP I

only needed what like three for the

matches that I would play so I was

carrying around a lot of extra weight

and now when I go I just try to keep it

you know two to three mags on me again

because you know your your matches will

end you'll have time to

load you don't need all that stuff you

know it's more weight more noise it's

just it's very uncomfortable it tires

you out quicker another thing that you

might need again I don't use them gloves

I know a lot of people don't wear gloves

I know a lot of people must wear gloves

my buddy Daniel who actually this is his

stuff right here he must wear these

gloves these are his glove well these

are my gloves but I let him wear them

because I hate wearing gloves he hates

getting shot in the fingers I do too but

you know I just find it more of a

nuisance to wear a glove because you

can't feel your mags you can't feel your

mag release it's all again just

preference it's you know either you like

getting shot in the fingers or you don't

I don't really mind it doesn't happen

enough to where I feel like I need to

wear them so I'll just run no gloves or

maybe just one glove and that'll be for

my front hand so if I'm holding the gun

up front that will be the one with the

glove but that's all preference again

this is stuff you don't really need also

a little quick tip you don't need to

dress in full military gear I know a lot

of people like to I remember when I was

first starting that's what I wanted to

do I wanted to wear all matching gear I

wanted to be that guy that was suggest

like I was going to be deployed in Iraq

but I realized that you don't need to no

one's gonna fucking care what you wear

now when I go I just wear fucking

whatever company pants I have some sure

of some sort that will breathe really

nice and then my vest my helmet you know

it doesn't even matter if it matches I

just won't wear bright colors that's my

one exception that's one thing I won't

do I won't wear like fucking orange or

red or wear black dark blue you know

stuff like that stuff that will not make

me stand out as much but let me get into

more of the guns and some other things

really quick all right so really quick

here are some starter guns that I have

this was actually my little brother's

first gun as you can see I shot the shit

out of it with an airsoft gun it's a

different video you guys can go find out

my channel or pretty much I tested the

durability of this gun but it's a Lancer

tactical it's actually it was a decent

gun before I shot the shit out of it I

shot pretty hard consistently around 400

FPS you know it's a great beginner gun

really lightweight I mean it's really

lightweight

but again it has cheaper materials but I

mean the the main core of it didn't

really sustain too much damage but good

beginner gun it'll range you about a

hundred bucks I remember this one came

with like two mags and a mask and a

charger and a battery I think for like

120 or 130 bucks some ridiculous good

price but again good beginner gun a lot

of people use these don't be ashamed if

you do hmm

it's not about gun you know especially

if you're just getting into the sport

you don't need to shell out 500 bucks

another good gun that you see a lot at

fields because there's a lot of rental

guns some sort of g36 I don't know what

brand this is it's probably a I don't

see any HK markings but I think it's a

jg it's a jgg 36 I want to say another

good gun not gonna kill you in price

again you know if you're just getting

into the sport you don't need the best

gun you don't need the best anything you

know you for all you know you won't play

in a month or two so just get something

you know nice basic but these are just

two basic rifles that a lot of people

have a lot of people like them this

one's more ambidextrous and an m4 but

another gun I would recommend g36 you

can upgrade the shit out of them and I

personally do like the style very comfy

guns now if rifles aren't your thing you

could get a try shot shotgun pump action

I use this at tak City or shotgun pistol

or pistol shotgun Wednesday's a good gun

not gonna you know I'll gonna a rifle on

the field but another you know fun gun

nice to see I think this one was like 30

or 40 bucks shoots three shots you load

it in with a shell a 30-round shell 10

shots it's again another good cheap

basic gun now I'll get into the more now

I'll get into the more you know

expensive intermediate gun alrighty so

here are my personal toys will go in

order this is the one I had first this

was actually my first gun that I

actually used out I called it with

sports in my local field

I love the AAG I still do I never use it

anymore though sadly I just I'd rather

use my new baby but again

you're getting into it this one will

range you a little bit more but if you

like the style this one has a much

longer barrel again you could do all the

research on stuff like that but you know

you're just finding the right gun for

you is important because you don't want

to get a gun they're not kind of fun to

list I had a lot of fun with this gun

until I want it to be as quick as

possible and I got a tiny ass SMG again

this was it was my favorite gun for a

while and then it actually broke sadly

it still works like it'll still shoot

but the blowback system will not work so

mmm so one thing I didn't like about it

but I got another fun gun I liked being

quick that's my new thing

oh sorry I almost died there I liked

being quick I liked being as lightweight

as possible so I I really enjoy having a

lightweight loadout so this this gun was

perfect for me it was accurate enough to

where I could have fun with it even

though I thought you know with the

shorter barrel and everything SM Cheese

style you know I was gonna be able to

pick off people I still could and I

still had a lot of fun with it so if

this is more of your playstyle look into

something smaller like an mp5 p90 stuff

like that and then lastly my current

baby Oh big Bessie here oh oh oh my god

I love this gun so much very nice gun

these are more again these are more

costly but if you're looking for a gun

that you want to use for a while I would

highly recommend this one again if

you're just getting into airsoft this

gun is like the best of both worlds for

like every platform it's nice and small

it's durable

if you look like it's about the size if

I fold in the stock so the size of the

the UMP over there so again it's it's

it's pretty small damage Dexter it's

very smart very durable I would

recommend this gun it's still my

favorite and I mean yeah just you know a

quick overview of what you should do in

there or get an airsoft you know there's

more to it you could go all the way into

optics and attachments and OH

magazines and all that crap but I'm just

giving you the biggest basic overview

you need a gun you need a mask and then

the rest is up to you don't need a

vest

I would recommend one don't need gloves

I know many people out recommend those

um you know just go out there and have

fun

no one's gonna fucking judge you if you

run around with the Lancer tactical just

just have fun I mean it's that simple

it's a sport if you're just getting into

it have fun
